Take Aways:

1. Paul identified the evidence, means, responses, and perseverance of those who are true ambassadors of God that the Corinthians might realize the legitimacy of his ministry; we too must recognize these attributes and strive to walk accordingly as faithful fellow workers of God—“Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:1-2

2. As Paul identified the Corinthians as the temple of God and subsequently charged them to be cleansed in Christ by pursuing holiness, we too are called to be washed in Christ by walking in purity—Titus 2:14 declares Jesus “gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”
