1. Paul challenged the Corinthians to examinethemselves with the same sort of critical judgment they placed upon him to ensure they were walking in the faith, and we too would be wise to consider our own conduct to affirm our lifestyle in deed aligns with our confession—“If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.” 1 John 1:6

2. As Paul exhorted the Corinthians to exudehonorable and godly behavior by being justified, sanctified, and unified in the Lord, so we must strive to yield to the Spirit in all that we do that God may be glorified by the testimony of our lives—“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
