Message Take Aways:

1. The believer is called to godliness, and the Lord has granted everything we need to walk accordingly—“walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory” 1 Thessalonians 2:12

2. The believer is to actively pursue growth in their personal walk with the Lord—“we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ” Ephesians 4:14-15

3. The promise of coming glory has been proclaimed in the Gospel, demonstrated by the transfiguration of Jesus Christ, and declared throughout the whole counsel of Scripture—“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” Philippians 3:20-21
