PALM SUNDAY

Apr 13, 2025    Pastor James Marini

Pastor James leads a special Palm Sunday Message on The Triumphal Entry of Jesus from Luke 19:28-40.

Take Aways:

1. As Jesus’ disciples were blessed by their faithful obedience to perform His commission while trusting in His Word, so we will be blessed as we submit ourselves to the Word of God and fulfill His Great Commission—“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” Mk. 16:15

2. After observing two differing responses to the Triumphal Entry of Jesus, we must carefully consider our response to His claim of being the Promised King: Do you celebrate Jesus as King unto blessedness or criticize Him as an imposter unto condemnation?—“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 10:32-33

3. Even as Jesus cleansed the temple of sinful compromise to restore it to its intended purpose, so the Lord Jesus desires to purify our hearts and restore us to know true and sincere communion with God for which we were created—“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3
