Message Take Aways:

1. Paul encouraged Timothy to be courageous in the ministry by remembering God’s faithfulness to preserve His people and accomplish His plans for His glory—“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17

2. Paul reminded Timothy of their glorious calling and solemn responsibility to preach the Gospel—“How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14

3. Paul exhorts Timothy to conduct himself in godliness that is consistent with sound doctrine—“in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.” Titus 2:7-8
